TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade - What It IsTab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker. His background tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad. What You Trade OnYou get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will round things out once it is live. What You PayThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.Execution SpeedThe speed is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level. The FSRA QuestionThis is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It does be part of your assessment. What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.The BonusTabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit. The full review, covering the full more info fee table, withdrawal policies, and tabtrade review regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
