TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the thing that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
