Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
